Classical Conditioning- A type of learning in which one learns to link two or more stimuli and anticipate events
Operant Conditioning- A type or learning in which behavior is strengthened if followed by a reinforcer or diminished if followed by a punisher
The diference is that classical it learning on how to link events and stimuli and has nothing to do with how we learn behaviorial habits. this is all so interesting becuase it helps me show that how I devleoped came through operant conditioning, because if i was bad i got spanked and if i was good i got a reward like money or an E for effort and all that good stuff For poositive reinforcement when ever i get really good grades my parents will reward me with cash and what not to keep me doing what i am doing because i know that i will keep getting money. A form of punishment that i got when i was litte was me and my sister would fight and i would be the start because she would gang up on me and when i would hurt her i would get spanked and i have learned to not startfights. The most interesting thing that i learned was that if you play a certaing sound or something as a trigger and after that trigger goes off and you award someone with it that after a while the reward wesopones becomes voluntary and the person will mindlessly reach out or expect the reward

As a child, I have never gotten spanked. That would defintely suck as a child but some kids have to learn somehow. As postive reinforcement for me as a child to keep my grades up, I got money. At the end of each quarter, if I had stratight A's, I received twenty dollars. When I was really young and didn't get grades, my parents would hang my assignments and projects on the fridge!
